As the title says. AC works fine when car first starts, but after about 15 minutes, I get hardly any air out of the vents. Even when I turn the fan on high, I can hear the fan working, but nothing is coming out (I do feel a slight amount of cold air coming out, but it seems to be seeping only).
I thought about a possible blockage, but it is not blocked when the engine is cold and warming up.
Seems to work fine until the engine gets hot. I have plenty of coolant, and when it is working, the air is cold, so I am led to believe that I do not need refrigerant.
Could it be the evaporator, which I believe is located in the dash? I know this was an issue with the 850 models, and very expensive to fix.
Or could it be something simple, like a vacuum line or swich, somewhere?
Is this a common problem?

It is hard to say...but I know on our V70 ('04) with similar problems, it was lent in the in-dash thermostat- check the little rectangular slotted piece next to the radio and see if it is stopped up. Once the lent was carefully pulled out and then some compressed air blown in to get everything else out- our A/C worked much better.
