i vowed not to make another until i did this.
so here goes....
i just bought my first volvo.
a 1995 850 GLT sedan.
and do i love the car.
i bought it from a guy who sells cars on the side to make a few bucks. only paid $1300. not too shabby.
the car is not perfect, but worth the money.
there are only two mechanical things wrong with it.
it needs new struts, and the a/c doesn't work.
it runs great. that's an understatement.
the ride? so smooth it's like riding on glass.
the handling is that of a fine tuned sports car; smooth on the road, but tight in corners and bumps.
this thing will take a corner like a slot car.
that being said, the reason i got it so cheap is due to it needing a little tlc.
most of the things i have to do are actually listed here quite clearly.
i don't plan on doing anything out of the way to the car. just back to standard.
i like things simple.
