I had the trottle body recall (1) done on my car. Symptoms: The gas pedal would stop working while driving. I had to stop on the side of the road and simply restart to get the car going again as if nothing happend.
My Volvo dealer said the the first part of the recall consist in reprogramming. Which worked ok for a while. Lately, same symptoms came back. I went back to the dealer and he said there are no fault codes logged and thus, can do the second part of the recall. He suggested me to came back if it happens again
Now, my car did it five times over 3 km yesterday. I'm prepared to go back to my dealer but I was wondering if anyone had experience the same symptoms with there V70.
