Every August donation will be sent to the MVS moderators for their hard work. They can spend it on their cars, on their kids, or on "lap dances" in Las Vegas, although I seriously doubt anyone has or will spend it in that manner (but it would be fun to hear about if it happened).
Donate
Anyway, to summarize, all donations I receive during August will be totaled and split three ways and sent to our MVS moderators MIJ, Ozark Lee and Vegasjetskier. Bill has graciously opted out.
They help here because they love helping. None of them is paid. Their time is pure volunteerism. Here's your chance to tell them $xx is how much I appreciate you.
No donation is too small or too large. If I recall correctly the donations collected last year were well over $100 to each of the mods.
I'll update the forum what the total is every few days.
Thanks
Matt

Hell, if "Ozark" would come across the state to give me some personal attention, I'd take him to the "East side" and of course post our adventurous evening

Thanks to all who donated. I just sent out emails asking for your forum user name so I can add a "MVS Contributor" rank next to your name. If you get this email -- or not -- please contact me to let me know what your username is.
If you'd rather not be recognized as a contributor, that's fine with me. In that case simply ignore the email.

Hello to all...My name is Peter and I have been helped more than I can believe by your site. I donated a measly $10. If I were not in financial ruin (I am...er...was a home builder) I would donate much more. I can't thank you all enough for this great resource.
In the last month I have, with your guidance, gotten medieval on my girlfriends 97 850 glt. First off replaced the timing belt and all bell n' whistles that go with. While doing that job found that the cat that did the belt at 70k failed in a big way by retarding the intake cam by one tooth. So for 160k the sled felt as though the turbo may be seized..she purs now!Installed an evaporator and replaced all o-rings for a/c, all new pcv set-up, motor mounts, stereo system...few, I have been busy. I love this Volvo!
Again thanks for all the help and wanted to say that it's stuff like this that are restoring my faith in the human race...no kiddin!

That's what I'm talking about!
Way to Go. Bet she's lovin' you now.
There is nothing more satisfying than making things right.
We all need a hand. There is Hope for Mankind, you just need to show a little Faith.
Ante up!
