Dunno if it was just me, but a few minutes ago I tried loading the site and it came up with the "Stop Do Not Post" sign and everything was Uber slow again. Now that's gone again and it's fast now...

No, what happened there is your ISP (internet service provider) had the old information associated with the domain matthewsvolvosite.com. There are hundreds of millions of these doman-IP pairs, so ISP cache this info and refresh it on their schedule to save resources.
If you see the "old" site with the "DON'T POST" warning, your ISP just hasn't updated their domain routing tables to point to the new server.
