Alarm System Service Required?

I turned my car on today and noticed that my sunroof would not open, I then looked down at my message center and it showed "Alarm System Service Required". What could be a possible fix to this? I also noticed that my alarm would be going off very faintly while the car was running...

Anything that can help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably need a new siren module. Here's how to replace it:

How can i test first to make sure it is the alarm system making the sunroof not work? Before I spend the money to have someone do the work...
