To buy or not? '06 S60 2.5T AWD 46K 15,900...

Hi there! I am ENTIRELY new to foreign vehicles, let alone Volvos! However, I think I fell in love today when I test drove an '06 S60 2.5T AWD black on black leather interior with all the features available for that year and make! The ticket price is 15,900 and it has 46K on it. I am scared to death because I have never had a "nice" car-- I currently drive a 2001 Buick Century... so my anxiety is high. I am looking for some insight to a few things--

1. Is this a good deal and how much do you think I may be able to get the dealer down if any?

2. How much more expensive is it to maintain and service a foreign lux vehicle like this versus domestic?

3. Also, if I make the purchase, I want to be sure to care for the car properly, and since it is not from a Volvo dealer, what kinds of regular care (aside from oil changes, brakes) should I plan to be doing and how often?

Any help would be great! It is Thurs evening and we are going to head up Sat to look at it again.

Welcome to MVS and perhaps to "Volvo World".

While your post was entirely appropriate in the general section I duplicated your post in the S60 forum where it can get more appropriate attention and more knowledgeable opinion. Volvo cars are infectious - there is more to Volvo for Life than the safety campaign. If you every buy one you are hooked for life.

I personally know little about the S60 so I will let those who know comment further.
