My speedometer suddenly works intermittent

Ideas?

Is your ABS / TRACS light on? The speedometer crapping out is usually the latter stage of the ABS module failure.

No no abs light on when I pull out of a parking spot in reverse then go forward that is when it usually does not work or some times just suddenly stops.
