I have been trying to get an answer to this question, but never seem to get a straight answer. As far as I know there is only one repair manual for the XC70 and that is the subscription from Volvo - at a hefty price. If I get a 1-day subscription (I believe it is either 1-d or 3-d), can I download the entire manual to my hard drive or print it to a pdf file, then access it whenever I need it? If not, are there some other suggestions?
Thanks, Dino
Repair Manual
There is an on-line source for a fairly comprehensive Repair Manual for your Volvo. Go to ALLDATAdiy.com, and you can get the manual for your specific year and model for US$26.95 for one year, and renew every year thereafter for US$16.95. Most of the info appears to be right out of Volvo's expensive manuals. ALLDATA is used by all the independent shops, and they pay thousands yearly for a subscription to all makes and models, but you get the same info they do, for your model only, at a bargain price. The info assumes you are a good general mechanic, so if you are a novice, it isn't going to lead you by the hand, but even if it only saves you one trip to the garage, you are money ahead.
Hope this helps.
