Nice 8)

Why does it seem that I can't get ANY aftermarket toys for my '93? I found that VPTuning site and wanted some of their carbon fiber trim pieces and nothing will fit my car :(

Yea, okay, maybe not nothing, but I really wanted that carbon fiber trunk panel and the darkened "Jewel" lights :\

Very Nice 850. Some questions: did the large downpipe/catback increase drone much? Do you have a cold air pathway/forced air system or is it a cone in the engine bay? Chip? Quarter mile times?

Also, sucks you have to put your plates on the front. We do in WA, but I don't and have been ok for 4+ years. Knocking on wood.

The system is not droning at all, but it is VERY loud. I did the cat-back first and then the 3" downpipe. I couldn't tell any difference noise-wise w/ the OEM downpipe versus the JT one, but the downpipe makes a huge difference in performance, much more than just the cat-back. My cold air setup consists of a shielded cone in the engine bay w/ 2.5" flexible plastic piping running to the front bottom of the car bringing cold air to it. I do not have a chip yet, but I am set on getting a BSR chip. I've not run quarter mile officially, but w/ my G-tech meter, I consistently ran times of about 14.25, which is not bad considering that I don't have a chip. The upgraded auto tranny definitely makes the car faster too. I drove a friend's '96 850 Turbo a few days ago. His mods are just a K&N Panel filter and an Upsolute chip. It was definitely slow compared to my car. He agreed as well :) . Once he gets an exhaust setup, I'm sure his car can be pretty quick though. He just dyno'd at 227 hp to the wheels and 238 ft. lb torque. I've got some more upgrading to do before I do any dyno runs though, since they are kinda pricey IMO.

If you want exhaust and you don't want it to be too loud, the Supersprint catback is the quietest from what I've heard. Hah, I just took that pic with the Ferrari 360 yesterday. I noticed it as I was pulling out of my neighborhood. I see plenty of exotics around here, but I usually don't have the opportunity to take pics of them :) . You can do the darkened jewel lights VolvoFreak. You just have to buy the newer style plastic pieces that go under the headlights. They're like $20 each.
