Building a snowmobile/wood trailer..

Hey folks, I am in the midst of building my first ever utility trailer. THe reason I am posting here is because my 01 XC will be hauling this trailer quite a bit.
Like i said this is my first attempt at building a trailer so I thought I would post up some details to see what people with some experience think.
It is 8 feet wide and 10 long. The perimeter frame is 3inch by 3 3/16th angle iron. THe crossemeberas are 20 inches apart and made of 2 inch by 2 inch 1/8th grade tubeing. THe tongue is 3inch by 3inch 1/8th tubing and attaches under the deck. The tongue is also supported by two 2x2 tubes that meet it at a 45degree angle and then run parallel to the perimetre frame front to back. Ive installed 8 ply leaf packs in a spring over axle configuration for clearance as my wheels will be under the deck. Ive built an axle using 2x2 inch 1/4inch tubeing and welding in 3500lb hubs.
The most this trailer will see is a couple snowmobiles or a cord of hardwood. Im guestimiating the trailer will weigh aprox 600 to 700 lbs when finished.
Anyone haul that sorta stuff with there volvo?? Ever build your own trailer? I was also considering hauling it with my 850 turbo as it has more power than the XC, but it lacks ground clearance and AWD.

The trailer sounds about the same size as a U Haul single axle trailer (800 pounds if I recall correctly) that I pulled from Seattle to Denver without much trouble in my '97 850 Turbo.
