230k miles. except for recent starter and blower motor problems, havent had any problems.

at what point will my 850 find it's serviceable end.

engine seems strong, as well as the tranny.

10/30 mobil one synthetic every 4000 miles.

what do u think...is it time to start looking at a new maybe S60 and r they as reliable??

casr see's 3k miles a month.

thanks

Why not ask the poeple who belong to the Volvo high-mileage club? ;) I've got about 213k on my '93 850glt and the last I knew, my parents have around 190k on their '95 850 turbo. I firmly believe that nearly any Volvo will run forever as long as you take care of it.
1993 850glt

219,000+ miles and counting :)

I also have a 1993 850GLT with over 220,000 miles on it and I drive it everyday and on long trips it still runs and handles great. When will it die? who knows. The way it runs right now I'm pretty sure making it to 300,000 will be no problem. I noticed that you are running synthetic motor oil so if that makes them run longer then who knows, I use Walmart brand.
