Service Indicator reset distance

Post by mouchra »

Hello, this is a new car for me (V70 1988). I normally do all the required services for my cars. After I complete the service and reset the service light indicator does this indicator reset itself for the next ____ miles, or is there a way to tell it when to come on again?

Help! :(

I guess you mean a 1998 V70. I have to take my 1998 S70 and my 1996 850 to a dealer to reset the service reminder light. So far they have done it without charge.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link

Thank you for the link. That is where I learn how to reset it, but what I do not know is if the reset is to a predetermined amount of miles or time.

Or is it something you can determine?

Thank you
