Hi,
I own a Volvo S40 1.8 XS Yr. 2000, recently the camshaft timing valve on the inlet manifold developed a fault. While the car was idling, the solenoid repeatedly opened and closed, stopped briefly, and started again. I replaced the valve plus gasket but the fault is still present. Nobody seems to know the cause - so any help would be appreciated.
