I had to purchase a set of Torx sockets at Pep boys to remove the module, (Victor will sell you a socket as well if you can wait a day or two). It took me about 15 minutes to get the module off following Victor's comprehensive instructions. I shipped the unit on Thursday via UPS. Victor got it Friday evening repaired the module and shipped it back to me on Saturday. I received the repaired unit Monday it took me another 15 minutes to reinstall, again following Victors comprehensive instructions.
The check engine light is still on so I have to reset that but all the other fault codes have cleared, I have a happy daughter who loves her Volvo again and I reckon I saved about $800 over having the dealer repair.
