The link worked fine for me too. Sometimes the site or its servers might be 'down' temporarily, for updates, etc, so just wait a couple of hours and try it again. We should all be thankful we can get great technical data for nothing. Cheers.

I'm having trouble with this download. It downloads fine, but I can't open it. My computer doesn't seem to know what a DS_store file is. Can you help the somewhat computer challenged?

Don't know why it doesn't download it as a "zip" file. Are you using some other operating system besides Windows?

I'm not sure what that file is about either but it is harmless. I just deleted it after I unzipped everything and went on my merry way. The manual files are nested a couple of folders deep into the file.

Good morning Fellas'!

I got it. I was doing this at 1 AM this morning. Must have had "Numb Brain". Shouldn't be workin' 'till that early in the AM. Last night I couldn't make it open, this morning everything is fine.

MIJ - I'm running Windows Vista. I don't think that was the problem. It was probably the nut behind the wheel.

Lee - Found it this morning workin' fine... Go figure. Probably operator error, usually is. I do much better workin' on the car vs the computer.

Anyway, when I open the file I see _MACOSX and Volvo_850. Double click on Volvo_850. This opens; Volvo 850, DS_Store file, and p_codes_conversion_table. Dbl click on Volvo 850, this opens; Volvo -95, DS_Store file, and Volvo 850 1996 scheduled service. If you go back and dbl click the p_codes_coversion_table, the code table opens.

I ignore the DS_Store files and _MACOSX and everything is fine. Things are much clearer this morning with a "Fresh Brain". Thank you for your time and patience. I'm usually much sharper than this! I'm gonna' go work on the car. I'm sure it needs something. I do much better with them!

I have apparently down loaded the file but I can't unzip it.It says that the unzip file is incomplete or currupt.If I use windows try and open it I get stuck in some kind of loop that keeps opening windows window and I have to manually shut the computer down.And Microsoft word says that it doesn't recognize the file.
What do I do now and I'm only a little computer literate or a lot illiterate.

I finally got it thanks looks great I was going to go buy a haynes manual but this looks like it will be just as good or better job.Plus now I can print off a page take it to the garge and the book won't even get dirty.
