I recently purchased a 1985 240 GL with a B230F motor. It runs and drives just fine but leaks large amounts of oil. I have found where it is leaking from. There is a hole right under the valve cover at the end of the rocker arm assembly. i can feel the end of the rocker arm moving around and i can see the oil spraying out of it. It feels as if there is a part missing most likely a "plug" of some sort. I retrieved what i thought to be the part i needed from a yard. A half moon shaped rubber piece that goes on when putting the valve cover on but my motor doesnt even have a spot for it and the whole is just below where the valve cover and the other part meet. And the hole is a full circle shape, about the same size as the end piece of the rocker arm. If anyone out there knows what piece should be there or why it is like this, or even a way to just plug the hole i would appreciate it.
Thanx in advance
