EZ117K Ignition System

Does 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo Wagon EZ117K Ignition Control Unit have a vacuum hose from the engine?

There is no mention of a vacuum line on any of my check lists for that system.

I recently was working on my speaker wiring under the dash and I found two vacuum hoses on left side, one is not connected to anything. I read in my Haynes manual that to remove the EZK control unit to first disconnect the electrical connection and the vacuum hose. The EZK control unit was removed three years ago while finding an ignition fault that turned out being the power stage. The car has gotten worse city fuel mileage since then.

I have looked at my Haynes and found a reference to the vacuum pipe but it relates to the B230E engine. None of my Volvo based books mention it for the B230FT. If there should be a vacuum pipe on then there will be a stub pipe on the control module.

I am very interested in seeing if the Volvo books are wrong.
