it should set a code when it fails to activate.

WHen I get out to the garage i'll see if I can get 11v on high speed, mine might be different being 2004 v70.

Mine ran ok with no fan unless I let it sit idling.

I hooked it up to vida this morning, low fan speed is .30v , highest fan speed is 1.33v.
that reading is at the fan plug, from signal to fan ground.

Using my computer safe test probe all I see is very faint light, so its quite low voltage.

11v might be backfeeding from your neg wire, so make sure to connect pos to the signal wire.
Theres no other way the purple wire can get 11v as I see.
