Not the best job but got it done...and so far, no misfires.
I'd have to keep this in mind for future wiring stuff. I happened to have a small bag of the typical connectors and just used those for now. I watched a video on how those heat shrink connectors work and it looks like an all-in-one solution. One caveat in the video was that it might not work great on larger gauge wires because, depending on the maker of the connector, the solder ring might not be large enough to fully penetrate the wires. Might be perfect for thinner wires..like these ignition wires.
Before: Locks broken off, hardened insulation, electrical tape, etc. Broken locks and taped wires.
