I'll try that tomorrow, thanks
Changed the fuel filter last year, right after I bought the car.
About the spark plugs, I changed them about 2 months ago, I didn't really put much effort into the plug gap. And the car ran fine after I changed them, could that become a problem just now?
Don't currently have a pressure gauge to measure the pressure at the rail, so ill have to wait until monday to test it.

That is ok. Sometimes the plugs can be set wrongly or even one could be badly gapped. If you have a single electrode type then you should be able to check them easily. These engines can be picky on brands of plugs. If you have Volvo plugs they may be the multi-electrode type, they should be set at the factory, but still worth checking and comparing to each other.

What about distributor cap and rotor? Also check inside the distributor for oil leaking from the cam seal.

Worst case, to check the fuel pressure, you can use one of the cheap metal tire pressure gauges with the little plunger that comes out the bottom of the handle. Won't be much good afterwards, but it gets the job done.

What gasoline octane do you run the car on? Low octane can burn valves. That would need a compression test to verify.

Checked the temp, reads about 1600 ohms at 21°C(69.8F)
Looking at the range chart, seems fine to me

35 psi is on the low side. However, that can be ok when it is actually running, although I would suggest you want it nearer the 40 mark.
