Get the green retainers and the pair of yellow o-rings for each hose. Cheap way to prevent leaks.

I put a Nissans on my T5 and it leaked after 5 years. The cause was a bad install , I let the jury rigged mount ear break, which mount huge stress on the upper hose mount and side case

It is worth buying those as mentioned by Firefox I think. The green clips tend to go brittle, and the 'O' rings go hard and can split if you try to re-use after being in there a long time.

That is a really good price on the alternator, and yes those mounts are worth getting. Some radiators come with them but others not. Also keep the metal center piece from the side (main) mounts as they prevent the rubber collapsing and keep it's shape.

If you have not already done it, start soaking the 2 side mount bolts now and daily until you get to the job. The bolts like to seize and break the captive/welded nuts off..
