Ok, my NA 1994 Volvo 850, the photos are of my air pump and hose leaving the air pump and traveling up to the throttle body. The purple vacuum line is clipped on to the hose that is leaving the air pump, the round plastic thing in my hand is the all plastic vacuum shut off “thing”(?), it is the top of the “thing” and the bottom of the “thing” is melted in and at the end of the hose to the air pump. There is a picture of the “thing” turned upside down that had a 1/2” diameter metal spring attached that extended to a length of about two inches, this is why I think is shut off flow unless vacuum opened it(?). I found some identification on the top of the round plastic “thing” but I’m pretty sure it’s not a part number.

Again pictures of my NA 1994 850, these pictures show the purple vacuum line source of the plastic “thing, in the previous picture you saw a larger hose leaving the air pump and attaching to a melted plastic bottom of the “ “thing” well on the other side of the bottom melted thing was another larger hose attached to the EGR canister which is also pictured in my hand, and was on the opposite side of the air pump hose pictured in the first group. I would like to know what these parts are called, if anyone has part numbers, and if anyone has a source to get these parts, if you think you can help in anyway I would be most grateful, thank you all who have responded, and to those about to…Paul
