Yeah, there are no magic hydraulic fluids.
Perhaps not surprisingly you can find conflicting information about mixing Pentosin and ATF, e.g. Pentosin says they should not be mixed: https://crpautomotive.com/wp-content/up ... uide-1.pdf.
I suspect they are just protecting their brand.
