I've been working with Aleksi on this and he feels it should work. Fob is due in Monday so we will find out soon enough. I was able to pull the PIN from the VGLA.

I’m driving down to RDU Oct 14. Let me know if I can bring any big parts!

As this is long running question i now made personal example how program or register the Remotes on 70 series (up to 2004 C70 example which did still use this VGLA module)

..the updated App version with updated interface for Remote Programming like on video comes out in a day.

It does indeed work on 99+ late model P80s. Really useful for reseting the ECC if you told it to calibrate the blend door motors via VIDA and it fails calibration and bricks itself. Ask me how I know...

xanthefin is the creator of OBD-II 850 and they're working on being able to crack the CEM pin for these later cars. Basically all VIDA does it allow direct access to the pin, then make you pay $70 to pair the remote lol. With the pin, we may be able to pair as many remotes as we like but without it we can't ensure that.

Kind of similar to how you need to crack the CEM in P3 cars to do additional software activations via VDASH.
