I think that your main issue is backflow of the fuel. If you fix that your car will be starting good without need to prime the system every time. So maybe get yourself a used unit and drive happy? I heard that there are plenty of salvage yards in Europe that will get you a unit if ordered

Yes, you're right, the main problem is the valve in the photo.
As for the pump I need, there isn't one that specifically requires 30761744, there is one from 2.4t5 that would fit, but the guy wants almost as much as for a new 30761747 at a good price, so it's not really worth buying a used one, especially since it has worm clamps and someone has already done something to it.

Does every fuel pump basket have the same valve? I think it's 6 bar when it should open.

According to Vida, I have fuel pump basket 30761744. I can use 30761745, but I have to replace the electrical connector of the overflow pump. I can also buy 30761747 at a good price, but it differs in terms of the valve and I don't know if it is located inside the fuel basket and at what pressure it opens.
Has anyone installed a fuel pump with the number 30761747 in an S60R V70R?
