What car are you working on, the 04/05 V70?

Knock sensors are on the right side of the block, under the intake manifold. Good pic and diagrams here: viewtopic.php?t=96526&start=20

I don't remember where the knock sensors connector is (one connector), but somewhere in the area of the starter and the fan I think. Make sure the connector is clean, too.

Its my beloved v70N. 2.5 T.

Here is a picture of the knocks


One at 6 and the one further to the left side at 3.
And the ground cablels are on the starter correctly.
