The fuel flow is complicated.
The pump on the right side sends fuel first to the fuel pressure regulator on top of the tank, right side. You cannot see or service this without dropping the axle/tank assembly. Excess pressure is sent over to the left dide, where the transfer “ pump” (non electrical) moves fuel continuously from left to right saddle tanks.
The regulated fuel pressure goes back to the fuel filter. , then travels up to th engine up the right side of the car
The four fittings on the tank outlets are , from right to left car direction
Outboard is pump output headed back to fuel pressure regulator
Inboard is return fuel ftom left side ejector pump
Inboard left s output from ejector pump
Outboard is input fuel flow ftom excess pressure from fuel pressure regulator.
Releasing fittings of these four is “ fun”. You need a forked bent release tool to get under then and pry them lose while applying pressure to the lock ring .
Gory details are in Neil’s write up on the axledrop, too.
