Thank you Bill . You say The Green/red is the other side of the switch in the relay and should go hot when the ignition is switched on. The blue/yellow should also go hot when the ignition is switched on but it gets its power from the fuel pump relay.
I have no juice at all from either of those two wires .
I'm at my wits end.

I should have also added that the green/red would go hot if the relay worked. The Green/red is the other side of the switch in the relay and should go hot when the ignition is switched on. The blue/yellow should also go hot when the ignition is switched on but it gets its power from the fuel pump relay.
The red wire is hot at all times but the relay stops the current flowing to the injectors (via the green/red wire) until the relay is activated. This activation is via the blue/yellow wire from the fuel pump relay. The theory is that when the ignition is switched on the blue/yellow wire goes hot, activates the switch inside the radio suppression relay thereby allowing current to flow to the injectors.
If you have no power through the blue/yellow wire the relay will not activate. Locate the fuel pump relay and check the blue/yellow wires at that point with the ignition off and on. You should find 4 blue/yellow wires going into, and out of, two terminals.
If you haven't already done so check fuses 1 and 11.
Bill.

Sorry for the long delay, health problems had me down a bit .
I checked the wires and finally found the problem.
For some odd reason both fuel pumps were working , even had fuel all the way up to the injectors as I had stated...but the nearest volvo dealership told me that the fuel pump relay operates the injectors as well and felt that this had to be the problem . So I replaced it and she fired right up .
Sure is sweet having the old car back up to par .
Thanks for all the advice Bill and everyone else.

Thank you for the update. It's a good feeling when you get it sorted.
Hope your health problems have gone the way of your car problems.
