Check the tensioner roller assembly to make sure it moves smoothly. FCP (and perhaps others) had a bad batch of INA tensioner rollers that would bind once they were torqued down. If the roller doesn't pivot smoothly the tensioner won't work properly.

ok it looks like its the tensioner,as lee said , i ordered a new one and will send the other one back.once i have the new one on i will post back.

o no from the time i made the vid clip untill now the car is sitting.i lucked out that a guy in my area hase the same car
850 awd. i left him a note on his car and he got in touch with me as i was having this problew.it turns out he has worked a few years on volvo s as a mechanic and came by to help me and set all the timming marks.
i should get the parts on monday and will send the old one back.

great news changed the tensioner roller assembly and all is fine.
sent the old one back and will hope for the best
