This same thing just happed to my 2007 S60. They had to recalibrate the window using their computer. half hour labor, $27.00. Well worth it!

$27 for a half hour, they gave you a heck of deal! The dealer in Utah is $100+ per hour and last time I lived in CT (westport) the volvo dealer was I think $150/hour. But congrats, truth be told I'd pay the $50 here in utah if dealership wasn't 100 miles away. I tried the fuse trick, but have not had luck. The only thing I have working so far is the passenger side if I hold the switch up for about 2 seconds after it reaches the top, when I let of it goes down about 1/8th of an inch to where it should rest. But it still doesn't work on the drivers side...
