Need to know removal procedure for the ABS Pump assembly

Remove the black cover from the pump motor. To do this You need to remove the nut from the harness bundle that is in the way of you removing the cover. Remove that nut, pull the harness out of the way so you can remove the black cover. Don't worry about breaking the black cover, it's very flexible.

Once off... Rewrap each wire individually and reassemble.

Twenty minutes or less.

An exceptionally old post at this point, but struggling to get the cover off per your instructions. With the 10mm nut removed on the harness I only have 2-3cm of play, which doesn't seem to be enough to allow the black cover to clear the pump. My cover also seems to only move 5mm of so before getting stuck on something - is there anything holding it to the pump or are there clip-rings retaining it? Perhaps I'm not levering it sufficiently, for fear of breaking something.
