Is the car a turbo or non-turbo?
One point many have not mentioned is check the water temp sensor. There are load values at various temps and see if it is in the correct range. Also check the contacts there the sensor meets the connector by the power steering pump. The wires and connector disintegrate with time.
If it is a turbo, the cars can be reluctant to start when it get really cold as the turbo intercooler can freeze preventing air to pass through it.

Well... o2 sensor codes and a lot of misfires usually points to a vacuum leak somewhere. The ECT is a little confusing as well - was the first data stream from a warm engine?
Have you had any work done on it, like PCV replacement, etc?
Next time, unplug the MAF before starting, then try to start it.
Clear your codes, and read them again after driving some miles, to see what comes back and are “legitimate”.

Yes the car was already started that day and i did a running datastream. Yes two years ago i had a shop replace pcv system, and had to replace radiator a few months ago after sister in law ran over a 30lb raccoon, also replaced turbo rubber piping and vacuum lines in the front and driver side except one that was braided it looked good and i didnt have a replacement for it plus air filter. Cold start issue started about a month after fixing issues with racoon wreak. Plus no start with maf unplugged, it was one of the first things i tried. Could it have something to do with the emission pump it front of the throttle body, i hear it running in between cranking and after.

This sounds very similar to when my coolant temp sensor failed. If you've had a thermostat fail or the car takes a long time to warm up, it's likely this went out too.VdubTheran wrote: ↑08 Jan 2019, 09:41 I'm having a similar problem with my 96 Volvo sports wagon Turbo. And I've read a lot of the forums on the cold start subject matter and I really don't know what I need to replace. I'm trying to find out what I can do to fix the car in the cheapest method possible. my issues are at 32 degrees the car will start after cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking. At 52 degrees i only need to crank about 3 times. I keep the car hooked up to a donor car while cranking to keep the rpms up and the batt charged. I crank the starter for 30 seconds plus each time. Im also having issues accelerating, it boggs down when i push down on the accelerator. I replaced all vacuum lines for the turbo. Ive had issues with the front fuel pump relay, but ive secured the pins on it. The fuel pump was replaced. This is drivin me nuts, and im ready to replace the car. I just need help finding out what to do.
