You can just replace the bushings, but I've heard that it's pretty difficult to install new bushings in the old arms. New arms with ball joints aren't too expensive, and like jablackburn said, at the mileage that you're at, a lot of components in the suspension are starting to get to thier common failure point. Since you have to take the arm off to do the bushings, you might as well just replace the whole thing and get new ball joints at the same time. Think of it as a "two for one special". One less time working on the suspension is always worth a few extra bucks to me.

From the picture the tie rod end is looking grim as well. Is the boot split?
