Have you tried swinging by a U-Haul place? I have no idea if they carry those kind of attachments or not, but they did have the exact one I needed to get to tow one of their bigger trailers with my dad's Liberty as opposed to the ball mount he has for his trailer and jet ski trailer.

No,JA. I was in the aftermarket auto industry for the last 24 years. that is NOT something available here in the states. I may unbolt the round part, and put a 1 1/4" ID square tubing in its place. make my own class 2 hitch. I thought this was gonna be simple!

My Error didnt read your signature are you're in Pittsburgh usa you wont have indespension its an english company I miss read and thought you were in Europe. I don't think its an english designed towbar, ours have different couplings for security especially to a V70 [98 on] Might be a Westfalia design [Italian I believe]

Send the picture to www.witter-towbars.co.uk and see if they can shed more light on it as they one of the UKs largest Towbar makers

Thanks,Charly, for the input. I work for a Swiss company here in the US. After getting my tool-room guys involved, we decided to remove the round part, and will build what i need, to accept a 1 1/4" drawbar. Its easy with experienced metal guys.
