Hopefully it will be the last one I install on the car.
For the top mount, Volvo's MSRP is 20USD, often we can buy from online dealers for $14 ish, yet that site wants $29 for that? Not to mention most of Meyle parts are made in china.
Sadly Volvo carparts are exorbitant in Australia compared to USA.
8 years ago I put in the genuine Volvo top mount it cost me A$90 so $29 is cheap for me and it was included as part of a shipment of several other parts from the UK which turned out cheaper overall than the same parts purchased from the US only because of postage costs (UK is cheap postage compared to US as a lot of US stores only use Fedex) .
A Scantech coolant expansion bottle costs A$125, didn't even bother to find the cost of the genuine part so sourced one from UK.
Back to the mount....it certainly looks better made than the original Volvo part with additional rubber shoulders where they normally split and all encased in a metal tube.
I used to be concerned about Chinese manufactured goods but now I figure German robots work just as well in China as they do in Germany, I guess we have to rely on the manufacturers with reputable names to produce quality goods no matter where they are made.

Can anyone say if bad lower engine mounts could cause a vibration through the clutch pedal at lower RPM's? Or am I looking at a clutch replacement? The pedal rattles between
1500 to 2000 revs when starting up, but when the engine settles to normal idle and the clutch fully depressed, it's fine. Give it a blip on the gas, I feel it through the pedal and can hear it also. There isn't any slip at all. Any ideas?

Might as well be. I started hating my 96R this winter when the lower (front) engine mount went bad. Everything vibrated. After replacing it everything is alot smoother, including shifting. So I´d give it a try, especially since parts are faily cheap and the replacement job is a walk in the park.

I replaced all of them except the frame bushings with OEM parts and I still get an annoying buzzy feeling vibration from the front. I'm beginning to believe its something internal or misfiring. My car has 162,000 miles on it. I don't know if this info is helpful to you but all new OE mounts and a persistent vibration is a data point for you.

Any luck with this vibration issue?
