I purchased mine at auction here in CA about two months ago. Couldn't drive it, but could start and sit in it and play with accessories. It's bumbers are quite faded from the Fresno sun where the car spent most of its life. The silver paint looks quite nice and shiny. The black leather was dry and is beginning to show wear, but is highly presentable. Bottom line-- $4400 at auction with 120,000 miles. I've spent about $700 on a spoiler, spring seat, cap and rotor, fuel filter and plugs. Found some minor trim pieces at the local junkyard, along with a trunk latch assy and power antenna. It has a rear main seal leak that is going away by itself. (??) The engne and turbo run as new.
According to the Standard Catalog of Imported Cars:
Base 850 sedan prod 25,847 units
850 GLT turbo sedan prod 13,887 units
850 T5 turbo sedan prod 6341 units
850 R turbo sedan prod 365 units
