Looks like those mechanics are not aware that the little bearing goes inside the top of the boot, and not outside it. While there, good to inspect that the large rubber boot is properly secured to the floor - as mentioned above by Superherman. This boot has two layers ans is secured to the floor with a large metal clip that is difficult to put back in place - this clip makes sure no water or engine gases will leak inside the cabin www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-XDNmbW8W0
