I also did read something about an air temperature sensor on the inlet manifold, could this be an issue? I will check the lambdas first anyway..

Never mind last posting as I found out that the air temperature sensor has been moved from the manifold to the MAF. I ordered a new MAF from the uk. 1/10 of the price than an original one here :)

Hi
had the same problem on my V40................replace the water temperature sensor, the one that is housed in the thermostat housing. This sensor sends a signal back to the ECU and not as one would think the temp gauge.
