1994 Volvo 850 Turbo Normal Operating Temp

Is this normal for the temp needle to be in this postion (See Pic)

I have had two 95 850's and both the temp indicators were dead center. I would suspect a faulty thermostat.

New thermo installed from fcpeuro when i flushed motor and radiator. Does the needle look centered from the photo ?

my needle pointing a little more up ? got a 90celsius thermostat. above 3o clock.

Baptiste and chrillew's car both sound like normal, there is some slight variation.
