I'm going to give this a try on my 02 v70xc. Sure beats a trip to the dealer to reset my SRS light and easier to get ahold of than the eu702. Anyone located another place to get the update files?

The EU 702 doesn't need updating. It already has the Volvo files. It's the other models that need updating.

I think hes referring to getting the us703 and putting the volvo files on that unit. The eu702 isnt always available in the us.

In any case, i have them.

I have reset the SRS light on my 96 GLT using the eu702.

No!! Only Vol-FCR cable which you can purchase as a USB version.

Mike, the Autel units *absolutely* reset the SRS on 850's etc. I've done it several times with my eu702.

More than one way to skin that cat.
