Lowspeed vibration in steering wheel

Bend back the fender liner as shown in that link and have a look at the mount.

I need your opinion to help solve some of the bad vibration I have in the front seats and steering wheel even I replaced all 5 motor mounts with new ones. Vibration happens only when car is not moving in any gear even in neutral--when is moving vibration disappear

Perhaps you purchased a bad unit. If it's not engine related then what you describe is usually cause by the front engine mount. The passenger side of the engine is the front. Have a look to see if it's collapsed?

I replaced all front back side and top mounts with new parts -did not make any difference

one mechanic said it may be subframe bushings but I dont think they cause strong vibrations?

What brand of mounts did you buy?

i got all from FCP -good quality -the old ones were not damaged and in good condition-must be something else not the mounts--maybe the exhaust touching the body?

As this is in the P80 and not the P2 model section, can I confirm it is a 06 S60 we are discussing?

no it is a V70 2006 wagon
