We have had this exact problem with our Volvo. After replacing everything under the sun (fuel pump, fuel pump relay, cam shaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, etc) it still wouldn't start. We took it to the dealership and it was the wiring harness to the fuel pump relay. So they apparently repaired it, only to have it quit working about 3 months later. Since the dealership is about 4 hours away, and we have to rent a dolly to get the car there, we are going to try the repair on our own. I'm guessing it's the same pink wire issue you mentioned. Thank you a million times for being so detailed in your issue, and your correction of it. Now off to trace the pink wire.
