Do the S80 have an idle control valve? Cant seem to find it!! Would it be the Boost Control valve for the turbo?hanzbe420 wrote:Eh go with the coppers gaped at .28 next time, telling u lol. Copper will handle more heat but wont last as long so there better but just life is less then the fancy ones. What is exactly your problems? whats the rpm's at? Its most likely fuel or spark. Make sure all spark plugs are pressed in the wires and cap. Make sure idle air control valve is plugged firm re plug it, same with maf. Check coil ( while car is running take of coil wire but keep it close and don't let it pull away from the coil, So this way it will form an arc and you will see the current running to the coil it should be a good spark. When you pull it out keep it real close like a centimeter to see if its working good. Check all vacuum hose's. Fuel filter, Fuses. EVERYTHING lol!!! It can be so many problems but i cant really no your problem unless you get more exact with it.
Car is still running crap with new Platinum plugs..at idle every 30 secs or so the revs will drop and level off...while accelerating it feels like its kicking and spluttering and sometimes has loss of power?
Ill do a full check tomorrow and see what happens, if not its off to Koping to have it check at €75 an hour labour
