2000 Volvo XC V70 car starts most of the time, ETM?

You probably need a new ETM so it's your choice.
You can try Module Master, they're new at this but they're a decent company.
You can go with XeMODex
or a new Volvo ETM

They sounded a little hesitant when I was talking to them on the phone. They said they probably have all the bugs worked out. If you were in my shoes would you try them or go a different route?

Modulemaster seem to be fitting a non-contacting sensor according to the ad. Some ETMs have faulty boards and it's not always easy to test them without a vehicle. I think that their hesitation with you is based on not having the car properly scanned for ETM codes. You could be chasing a red herring.

I say spend the 500 with xemodex and be done with it. I did at roughly 160,000(2000 xc70) and it has run like a dream ever since(currently @ 210,000).
