Working around subframe requires extra care. Practice safety.
It is doable, but be very patient and careful, keep work area clear and well lit.
Wear protective eyeglass.

For assessing steps only:
I would want to raise the car on 4 jack-stand, secure it.
Remove protective plate, 7 screws.
Then place a 12" piece of 2 x 4 below transmission and support it with mobile-jack first. I use bottle-jack for better control of height.
Remove the two nuts #38 on the lower transmission torque mount bolts to the subframe.
Then completely remove the one engine pad bolt #39, which is accessible from the hole in subframe.
Measure the length of the bolt, and screw it back-in close to 10mm
Now raise the mobile-jack 10mm at a time, but not more than the total length of the bolt #39.
Goal of the above procedure it to determine the steps for replacing the front engine mount bracket.

Take pictures.

xHeart,

Is your comment that once I complete all those other steps I should be able to figure out what I need to do?

petek153,

FCP videos tell ho to remove the mount not the mount bracket.

Does anyone have the workshop manual?

Without hesitation. It is a foundation for getting you started.

I recently replaced the complete steering gear (aka rack and pinion). It was an extremely difficult task. I had to lower the subframe, took me weeks to do it right. Lots of troubleshooting along the way.

You have much smaller task, and difficulty is proportional low. If you are certain that the mount pad bracket is broken, keep one in hand while figuring it out.

I assume you are working on 2001 V70XC?
The FCP video is partly relevant.

xHeart,

I really appreciate your help. It would be better if someone may have replaced the bracket before and can tell me exactly how to do it. It seems strange that I can't find this having been done previously.

There is little-to-none on front mount bracket. You are the first, not a bad place to be in.
Took another look, it is a tight space for socket and wrench to clear all three bolts from below after the mount itself is off.
Not sure taking off the fan is necessary, yet it is congested in turbo models.
