Sorry meant to say DIM not CEM though both or either could be faulty in your case. Again VIN matching is necessary.
I believe you can make a used one work, but dealer will need to be involved; again this unit uses the immobiliser module to confirm correct VIN.
You can have XeModex check your unit for you. 8251281 COMBINED INSTRUMENT CLUSTER may be your part number but without a VIN I can't confirm.
Call XeModex and someone can talk you through a test procedure
