It runs again !! I just have to put accessory stuff back on. Then test drive.
I can't figure out how to post a picture or I show you the my tensioner at 90 k miles next to the new tensioner.
I got lucky. I'd recommend changing the Timing belt and tensioner at probably 70k miles. I believe the manual stated to change at 105k miles.

Hurrah! Glad you stopped it when you heard the noise, etc. Most people feel stumbling and try to rev the motor. Yikes!

Those rollers depend on the sealed grease system. Just think how that grease must be at 14 years? A lot of times the rollers start to squeal at cold start when the grease is gone.

as already stated, there is a time criteria.

do you have VVT? take a pic. of your cams and post it if you are not sure
