The WP is cheaper if you buy separately, FYI "Aisin" makes the WP for Volvo.
I discussed all the detail in the DIY link.

Labor charge should be 4h or so all the jobs mentioned in the link.

The PCV, do that later ("jblackburn" and I wrote the DIYs in forum), right now it is more urgent to take care of this TB job.

Hurrah! Now that the mystery is solved you can proceed with repairs.

At this point you should do what you can afford to do. Use whichever mechanic you feel comfortable with and you can afford.

Yes do the belt, both rollers, water pump if it has never been replaced and haydralic tensioner if it is bad or has never been replaced. As for the seals, if they are NOT leaking, I would not replace them. Some mechanics replace everything in the neighborhood as a precausion but my car has over 240,000 and the seals are original. No need to go overboard. However, have them test the PCV system once the belt is on and if it is in need of service, have it replaced to avoid problems and oil leaks.

Nice save by having your son shut the motor off and having the car towed. :)

If you want to buy new lines, I can't recommend the aftermarket ones as people have had problems with the oil cooler ones not lasting, so I'd go with this but they are almost $100 each:

Or if you want to pay much, much less for a tested and confirmed rebuilt alternative, I'd contact member orleec (see thread below) and ask him if he has any rebuilt lines available, or figure out if you have time to send him yours:

FYI, no need to buy Volvo AT hoses, which are expensive.
I rebuilt my AT hoses using generic transmission hose from local autoparts store.
All you need is an angle grinder to grind off the factory crimp, then you have the barb fitting to be sued with Oetiker clamps.
