With the ECC set to AUT fan, and 72º, I can get a gust of hot air blowing out within 3-4 minutes if I drive a certain route. 40mph on a slight uphill road really gets the engine warm quick, even if I'm extremely gentle getting up to speed.

Remember, the oil takes much longer to heat up than the coolant, so go easy on the engine for 7-10 minutes, even if the temp gauge says "operating temp."

But, my Volvo heats up faster than any other car I've had. Gf's non-turbo heats up just as quick, if not quicker.
I'll try setting my ECC to those settings as well. Right now my car is not good for going uphill, lol. I think I have an ETM, PNP, or maybe transmission solenoid problem. The car shudders and jerks at around 10 and 30MPH. Going uphill is pretty bad as well it will start to shudder also and last snow storm we had I couldn't even get home; I had to park at the end of my street since I live at the highest point on my street, lol.
